A trusted Mortgage Adviser

Wouldn't it be great to know you can trust your mortgage adviser to give you the best advice and steer you down the right path? Well you can! Here's why...

We are licensed

The mortgage industry is regulated by the industry bodies MFAA and FBAA, with a Code of Practice that requires high professional standards, fair business practices, ethical behaviour and compliance with laws and regulations.

New national regulation for the credit industry, including mortgage advisers, commenced in July 2010 (known as the National Consumer Credit Protection Act), bringing the regulation of residential investment property under the control of ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission).

By law mortgage advisers have to practice "responsible lending", which means extending credit that is unsuitable to the needs and financial capacity of the consumer is an offence.

We are honest

It's standard industry practice for mortgage advisers to be remunerated by lenders and receive commission on the loans we settle. This puts us in the position to be able to negotiate with a range of lenders and mortgage providers on your behalf to find the best situation for you.

We are up front about the fees associated with our service and we will happily provide client testimonials.

We offer premium advice, service and support

It is our job to advise, educate and help you to meet your financial needs. We are well versed in financial services, have years of market experience and a wealth of market knowledge.

Combined with this expertise is the personal commitment we make to our clients to listen and respond to their needs. We care about our clients and thrive on keeping you happy and being available when you need us most.

We recently had a client who told us "you made this so easy for us - I couldn't have done it without you."
It's feedback like this - from a happy client - that reminds us why we became mortgage advisers and why we love our job!

Congratulations to Vow Financial

Wholesale Aggregator of the Year - 2011 and 2012: MFAA Excellence Awards

Vow Financial have won the MFAA award for Wholesale Aggregator of the year for the second year running, which is a fantastic achievement considering they have only been in business as Vow for two years!
Vow Financialal thank all of our broker partners for your ongoing support over the last two years of us being in operation.
Vow Financial
The awards were held on Friday night at the Westin Hotel in front of a crowd of over 400 industry participants. This award is judged by a panel of Industry stalwarts who review each applicants strategy, information and communication. I had several people who were on this judging panel congratulate Vow on the quality of the submission and how much we had achieved in such a short space of time. A number mentioned that our diversification initiatives (Vow Wealth, Vow Legal & Vow Leasing) made us an easy stand out in the aggregation space.
This is a great achievement that the team at Vow Financial are very proud of and is an acknowledgement that aggregation is just more than software, compliance, commissions and lender agreements. This award continues to support our strategy of diversification and creating value for you - our broker partners.
Thank you once again to all of you. This award would not have been possible without your ongoing support and commitment.
Kind Regards,
Tim Brown

2012 - The year ahead

Welcome to 2012! I hope you had a chance to have a break and spend time with family and friends. Time Brown CEO of our Aggreagtor group has enlighted us with some thoughts for 2012.

"As you know, it's been an interesting start to 2012 with America showing positive signs of recovery and China continuing to grow (albeit slightly slower than in prior years), but still ahead of analysis's predictions. Europe continues to struggle with its sovereign debt burden and there is really no magic solution. This will be a long term issue and will continue to act like an anchor for rest of the world's growth.

So what does all of this mean for Australia and more importantly for you as a business owner?
Firstly, rates will probably come down further but the banks will absorb most of the decreases with the increase cost of funds. Unemployment will more than likely rise in the short term as Banks, Manufacturers and Retailers come to a conclusion that their revenue will not meet budget for at least the coming year and in response will shed up to 10% of their work force. On the positive side both Queensland and WA still have strong growth in mining and will look to absorb a lot of the job losses. On the housing front there is still a shortage of housing supply with an estimate that there will need to be another 100,000 homes built to meet current demand, hardly an indicator of a housing bubble. Do not expect a lot from the Federal Government as they continue to show very little leadership in the current climate, especially now they have lost the support of a couple of key independents. Consumer confidence is the key and there are a number of survey's over the next few weeks t hat will give us an indication of how the general population feels about the year ahead. This could give us our strongest lead to what people's attitudes to buying property in the coming year will be. Certainly early indicators are that Sydney and Melbourne are shown signs of growth in the property market."
